I have finally had enough time to decompress today and last night to put words on a page. Even if most of those words about to “Yay less homework! Thank the small gods!” (Rattle your drawers!)
I have knit about half of a hat today, and I’m planning on doing so much more than just the most basic things to make it functional. I want it as warm and soft as it can be made, so it’s double layered around the ear flaps and the brim, plus I’m going to comb the inside until it fuzzes slightly to make it as wind and waterproof as possible. And I’m definitely doing the decorative I-cord edging in a contrast color instead of leaving it plain. I don’t have fur to leave on people’s clean clothes like a properly furry cat, but my people will be marked with knitwear, dammit!
I have a bruise on my knee where I was viciously attacked by a table, and I probably am fighting off a sinus infection, and I’m definitely being very careful about what I eat and drink bc my mouth is trying to get another ulcer. So basically my body is not doing great bc stress, but I’m doing all the stuff I know how to do. If anyone wants to join me for weekend wake-up yoga on Discord, or possibly something gentle in the evenings like tai chi or qigong, that might also help.
